Tags

Tags are colored labels attached to resources. They are used to group resources and to find them again with the tag: filter, for instance tag:production.

• Any resource can have any number of tags.
• Tags can be added by users, one resource at a time or in bulk, with or without cascade.
• Tags can be added automatically by jobs, with a TagFinding.

Red Kite comes with a few tags: Critical, High, Medium, Low, Info and Login. The tags are shared by all the projects.

Tags or custom fields?

Use a tag for a yes/no label that you want to filter on, such as pentest-2026. Use a custom field for a piece of information that has a value, such as the owner of a server.
